The official Whale Watching Season runs from December 15 to April 15 of every year, yet every year our spotting network start to report Humpback Whales in Los Cabos in early November. With the diversity and predictable ability to encounter much of the Marine Life in Cabo San Lucas, enthused by excitement at the return of the whales and the opportunity to collect Humpback Whale ID Data as soon as the Whales start to be seen, we are pleased to offer Cabo Marine WildlLife Encounter Tours starting in late November

Of course, nature and especially Whale Migration timing is different each year, variable with many environmental cues, changes in the animals dynamics and more. So in the weeks leading up to the official start of the Cabo Whale Watching Season, we offer these Cabo San Lucas Marine Wildlife Tours, in regards to the official start date of our Whale Watching Permits.

That being said, every tour, each year, that we have run from December 1 through the 14th have had the marvellous opportunity to respectfully encounter Whales during their migration. However, it is nature and we cannot offer our standard Whale Watching Guarantee during the Preseason Marine Wildlife Tours.

So what is different about these Whale Watching PreSeason Marine Wildlife Tours? Our team of Bioloigsts, Naturalists and Photographers will focus the tour on all of the amazing Marine Life that collides at the junction of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean, here, off the coast of Los Cabos.

This includes:

  • Watching the California Sea Lion Colony inside the Marine Protected Area of the Bay of Cabo San Lucas
  • Watching the Marine Birds along Lands End – Frigates, Brown Boobies, Pelicans, Cormorants, Osprey and more
  • Watching the many tropical reef fish that inhabit the protected reefs of the Marine Protected Area of the Bay of Cabo San Lucas through the Glass Bottom windows of our boats
  • Cruising the Pacific Coast or the Sea of Cortez coast looking for many species to encounter – this can include; Common Dolphins, Bottlenose Dolphins, Sea Turtles, Sharks, Manta and Mobula Rays, Marlin and other Game Fish and of course HUMPBACK WHALES!

So if you will be visiting Cabo San Lucas near the end of November (please contact us) or between December 1 and December 14 (you can follow this link to book) we hope you will join our staff of Marine Biologists and Naturalists to encounter some of the amazing wildlife here in Los Cabos during the Cabo Whale Watching preseason tours.
