Whale Watch Cabo has a whale watching tour to satisfy the adventurer in all of us! For many of our guests seeing the beauty of Whales and Dolphins in the wild is a life changing experience! We understand why, Cabo San Lucas is one of the best places in the world to encounter Humpback Whales and Gray Whales in their adventurous breeding grounds and calf nursing areas.
Whale Watch Cabo offers small group Cabo San Lucas whale watching tours with the most departure times to ensure our guests the best possible experience. Our whale watching tours depart from the Cabo San Lucas Marina at 8:00am, 8:30am, 11:00am, 12:00noon, 2:30pm and 3:00pm everyday during the Cabo San Lucas Whale Watching Season from December 15 to April 15. During these tours we will pass the arch, Lover’s Beach, the Sea Lion colony and then head out and try to find as many whales as possible.

With our tropical desert climate, beautiful scenery and plentiful marine wildlife its no wonder that Cabo San Lucas and the Sea of Cortez have a wonderful reputation as one of the best places in the world to encounter Humpback Whales, Gray Whales and many other Dolphin and Whale species in the natural habitat. To date Whale Watch Cabo has encountered over 20 species of Whales and Dolphins here in Cabo!

As passionate stewards of a world-renowned marine environment we are motivated to provide our guests with more than just, a “look at the whales and dolphins”. We realize that most of our guests have travelled great distances at high cost to experience what we have the privilege of doing daily. We respect and ultimately are grateful for this and so with every departure we go above and beyond, maximizing guest satisfaction, overall comfort and delivering the “WOW” factor!
There are many Whale and Dolphin species we encounter in Cabo San Lucas (from most common to least): Humpback Whales, Gray Whales, Bottlenose Dolphins, Spotted Dolphins, Common Dolphins, Blue Whales, Rough Toothed Dolphins, Spinner Dolphins, Orca/Killer Whales, Bryde’s Whales, Pilot Whales, False Killer Whales, Fin Whales, Risso’s Dolphins, Beaked Whales, and Dwarf/Pygmy Sperm Whales. We also encounter other marine wildlife such as Sea Turtles, Mobula Rays, Manta Rays, Sharks, Marlin, and many species of Sea Birds including: Cormorants, Osprey, Blue Footed Boobies, Brown Footed Boobies, Pelicans, Frigates, Heron and many, many more!
