We are very excited today to announce the official start to the Cabo San Lucas whale watching season with Whale Watch Cabo. While December 15th is the first official day of tour operations taking visitors to Los Cabos to see Humpbacks, the whales have been here in Baja for a few weeks already, obviously they didn’t know the official start date. We believe that their early arrival is a strong indicator of a lengthy season in Cabo San Lucas for watching whales.

For those of you that have not yet been to Los Cabos, Whale Watch Cabo is entering its second year. We specialize in biologist led, non-invasive interactions, while introducing Cabo San Lucas visitors up close to the over 600 Humpback Whales that frequent the southern Sea of Cortez during the whale watching season.

The season officially runs from December 15th, 2011 to April 15th, 2012. During the same period last year we averaged two trips per day, 5 guests on the boat per trip and had a 100% sightings record. We are proud to be ‘The Little Guy’ when it comes to Baja whale watching operators. We think you will find our small groups, knowledgeable staff and comfortable boat exceed your expectations for a wonderful cabo adventure to see whales.

Leading up to today we have been busy getting photo and video images of the whales. We plan to start posting short video clips and more photos of our Cabo whale watching expeditions so you can get a better idea of what to expect.

So check back soon for more updates, photos and whale watching trip reports from Cabo San Lucas. Whale Watch Cabo is the premier operator specializing in small group, whale biologist led, whale photo safaris to encounter Humpbacks in the southern Sea of Cortez, Baja, Mexico.

We hope you will contact us today to start planning for a unique and personalized whale watching tour. The Cabo Whale watching season has just begun, day one we already saw over 15 whales!
